Sustainabilty Policy
BSI 8901 is the flagship standard for sustainability across the events industry. The approach aims to embed the key values for sustainable event production. Sustainability is defined in BSI 8901 as ‘an enduring, balanced approach to economic activity, environmental activity and social progress’. The standard, as implemented at Fisher, enshrines many of our core production values. The process-orientated approach has provided a framework for benchmarking our performance, through the development of Key Performance Indicators for different areas of our business. A rigorous external auditing procedure by the British Standard’s Institute ensures credibility. We believe that BSI 8901 has a vital part to play in the long-term success of the events industry.
