To celebrate 90 years of BP shipping Fisher Productions were commissioned to produce a very special event at the National Maritime Museum.
|
 |
400 Guests were to experience a truly memorable evening celebrating both their company’s birthday and a prosperous future.
Fisher proposed a theatrical piece was specially commissioned for the event loosely based on a Hans Christian Andersen Story entitled “The Uttermost Parts of the Sea” which would be representative of both the history of the company and the maritime theme of the venue.
Fisher employed The Generating Company to choreograph a show using contemporary dance, arial work and acrobalance to illustrate the story and designed a stage and set with lighting and projection for the performance. It was the most complex event ever hosted by the museum and warranted three days of through the night access to enable Fisher to complete the task.
Having been wowed by the entire evenings events guests enjoyed a spectacular exit where the entire façade of the building was wrapped in a 90th Anniversary BP Shipping ribbon.
BP Shipping were absolutely delighted with the event and felt proud to have been able to entertain their guests, many of whom had come from overseas, in such a spectacular manner.
