The National Maritime Museum’s three unique venues; The Royal Observatory, The Queen’s House and the National Maritime Museum galleries lie at the heart of the World Heritage Site Maritime Greenwich. They are perfect for any number of events; from gala dinners for up to 500, product launches, drinks receptions as well as wedding ceremonies and intimate dinners.
The dramatic National Maritime Museum galleries offer facilities for corporate entertaining on a large scale. With its soaring glass roof, the Museum’s central Neptune Court is a stunningly modern location, with space to seat 500 diners. Guests can enjoy a glass of Champagne in the lower galleries, and private views of our prestigious Special Exhibitions are a popular entertainment option.
The Queen’s House, built in the seventeenth century by Inigo Jones, was the first wholly classical building in England. Surrounded by sweeping lawns, colonnades and terraces, the House commands unique views of the River Thames and Wren’s Old Royal Naval College from the North, and Greenwich Park and the Royal Observatory from the South. Inside highlights include the cubic Great Hall, famous Tulip Staircase and the beautiful south-facing Orangery. Originally a private royal retreat known as ‘The House of Delights’, the Queen’s House provides the perfect venue for corporate, private and wedding parties.
