Project Specifications

Fisher were delighted when the National Portrait Gallery asked us to produce their annual Portrait Gala, funds raised from the evening help support the work of the gallery in providing inspirational exhibitions and displays and some of the proceeds will go towards the Gallery's Portrait Fund, which allows it to acquire portraits of outstanding national importance.

We supplied full production for the event including lighting, sound and staging and our fabulous gold carpet that led to the entrance drew numerous comments, tweets and paparazzi attention!

The gala was attended by friends and supporters of the gallery with a high celebrity count including David Bailey, Elizabeth Hurley, Bryan Adams, Jonathan Yeo, Alan Rickman and Grayson Perry. The Duchess of Cambridge also attended in her role as Patron of the gallery, wearing a stunning Jenny Packham dress.

Guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner by By Word of Mouth and had the opportunity to view and purchase hand-written Pen Portraits and Mystery Portrait Postcards created by leading artists and authors who have been inspired by portraits in the Gallery's Collection.
