Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition Preview Party
Fishers brief was to create a cutting edge, impactful concept and build with an eye on current trends for The Royal Academy of Arts prestigious Summer Exhibition Preview Party.
This hugely successful fundraising event is a landmark in the art world calendar, attended by celebrated names from art, fashion and literature. Now in its 244th year, the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition is the world's largest open-submission contemporary art show. Fisher Productions are honoured to have designed, produced and managed this prominent event since 2007.
Chevrons and fluorescents were central to the shows concept and design and Fisher took inspiration from the neon bright designs at London Fashion Weeks S/S13 collections. We created a stunning entrance in the Royal Academy of Arts courtyard, with a bright neon yellow carpet with black edging on which all photo calls were made, ensuring the celebrity guests really stood out!
Inside the bars and food stations were designed as a geometrical collection of contrasts; including raw textures that complemented the variety of works on display in the exhibition.
“We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your work on Wednesday evening. The party was a great success and all of the bars, courtyard, and of course, the carpet were amazing, I think this year we surpassed ourselves!! Thanks so much again for coming up with such great suggestions and all of your hard work on the day!”
Deborah Rawlings -Senior Events Manager, Royal Academy of Arts.
