Project Specifications

Visit Denmark

As part of London 2012, Visit Denmark wanted to promote tourism and highlight the country’s cuisine, design, music and history to Olympic visitors.

Fisher were briefed to provide full technical production, H&S and event management for this activity. Centring on a full scale Danish houseboat that was especially designed and built for the event, there was a strong focus on sustainable solutions. Fisher worked closely with Visit Denmark to design and create weather proof temporary structures in keeping with country’s brand identity.  A key issue around the build and production was that public access was required at all times in and around the space, as a result health and safety was of major importance.

The site received 250,000 visitors throughout the games and Visit Denmark agreed Fishers work exceeded their expectations and helped make their activity at London 2012 a major success.

Client Testimonial

“In conjunction with the 2012 Olympic Games, Visit Denmark and TV 2 decided to set the stage for a Danish event area in the heart of London. Before and during this 17 days event we enjoyed an invaluable assistance from Fisher Productions. With their help and guidance we were able to successfully plan and execute the biggest international event both organisations have ever made.

It is therefore with great pleasure that I recommend Fisher Productions as an extremely capable producer of events of this scale”.
