Two extraordinary new venues
The Postal Museum and Mail Rail is a brand new heritage attraction in Central London that will provide a unique subterranean event space, which includes an immersive underground ride through the 100 year old secret tunnels and contemporary museum event space, with a sunny private courtyard.
Conveniently located in Farringdon, these two new experiential spaces will be available to hire for everything from receptions and sit down dinners to product launches and award ceremonies. Highly adaptable, the space has capacity for 275 standing and 180 seated.
Mail Rail@The Postal Museum
Immersive experience in a secret underground railway
Deep under the streets of the capital, a disused railway tunnel stretches for six miles. After being shut for a decade, the London Post Office Railway - known to many as Mail Rail – will be opened as an attraction to the general public for the first time in its history.
Opened in 1927, the world's first driverless, electric railway ran silently under the streets of London for more than 90 years from Whitechapel to Paddington, delivering over 4 million items daily.Visitors will be able to take an immersive ride on replica trains along a 1km stretch of these hidden tunnels and along the way will discover the history of Britain's social, cultural and industrial past.
